Dogak Dogak Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 6, 2026
Dogak Dogak (도각도각, “the app”) is an iOS custom keyboard that plays mechanical-keyboard typing sounds.
1. What you type
- The keyboard does not store or transmit the text you type. (Exception: a list of recently used emoji is kept on your device only — see section 3.)
- The keyboard extension contains no networking code.
- For input handling (Hangul composition, cursor-move detection, deletion) it reads only the text immediately around the cursor, in memory, and never sends it off the device.
2. “Allow Full Access”
- Full Access is used only for key-press haptic feedback. iOS does not allow haptics from a keyboard extension without it.
- Even with Full Access enabled, the app does not store or transmit what you type.
- Typing sounds, Korean/English input, and sound/theme selection all work with Full Access turned off. Key haptics are off by default.
3. Settings stored on your device
Your selected sound and keyboard theme, the haptics toggle, the last-used layout, recent emoji, the time a tip was dismissed and the time feedback was last sent (to limit repeated sends) are stored only on your device (a shared App Group container and each target’s own defaults). The developer does not receive them.
4. Feedback you send to the developer (only when you choose to)
On the in-app “Contact & Feedback” screen, only when you tap Send, the following is delivered to the developer’s Slack channel. Nothing is sent otherwise.
- The feedback text you wrote and its type (bug report, suggestion, other)
- (Optional) a reply email address; leave it empty to send without a name or email
- (Can be turned off) diagnostics: app version and build, iOS version, device model identifier, selected sound and theme, haptics setting
This is used only to read and reply to your message and to fix bugs. It is not used for advertising or tracking and is not shared with third parties, other than the Slack processing described in section 5. Retention: 1 year after your inquiry is resolved, and no longer than 2 years after we receive it (we delete the Slack message within 1 year after replying to you or finishing the fix, and within 2 years of receipt even if it was never resolved). To request deletion, email calla20032@naver.com.
5. Processing by Slack and transfer outside your country
The feedback in section 4 is delivered to the developer’s Slack workspace when you tap Send. To be conservative, we disclose this as a processor engagement and cross-border transfer (e.g. under Article 28-8 of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act):
- Recipient: Slack Technologies, LLC (United States)
- Recipient’s contact: use the privacy contact channel described in Slack’s Privacy Policy (https://slack.com/trust/privacy/privacy-policy).
- Country of transfer: United States
- Data transferred: the feedback text and its type, the reply email address (only if you enter one), and diagnostics (if left on) - exactly the items listed in section 4.
- When and how: sent over the network (HTTPS) when you tap Send.
- Purpose: receiving and storing the Slack message so the developer can read and reply to your feedback and fix bugs.
- Retention: 1 year after your inquiry is resolved, and no longer than 2 years after receipt.
- How to refuse and the effect: if you do not tap Send, nothing is transferred. You can also email calla20032@naver.com directly outside the app. Refusing has no effect on the app’s other features. Feedback is sent from the app only through Slack; the app has no option to send by email.
6. What we do not collect, and the App Store privacy label
The App Store label is “Data Linked to You: Customer Support, Email Address, Other Diagnostic Data; no tracking”. This data is collected only when you tap Send on the feedback screen described in section 4. The keyboard extension collects and transmits nothing.
Beyond that, the app does not collect Advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, keystroke logs or usage analytics. The app does not track you and includes no third-party analytics SDKs.
7. Your rights and how to exercise them
- You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of the feedback information you sent.
- Exercise these rights by emailing calla20032@naver.com. We will act without undue delay and tell you the result. To verify it is you, we may ask about what you wrote (roughly when you sent it, part of the text, etc.).
- If you sent feedback without a name or reply email, the developer cannot tell who sent it and may be unable to process such a request.
8. How and when data is destroyed
- When: promptly once the retention period (1 year after your inquiry is resolved, and no longer than 2 years after receipt) ends, and also when you request deletion.
- How: the message is deleted from the developer’s Slack workspace, together with any copy the developer saved separately.
9. Security measures and automatic collection
- Feedback is transmitted encrypted over HTTPS.
- The Slack workspace where feedback is stored is used only by the developer, and no one else is given access.
- The app does not install or operate cookies or any other device that automatically collects personal information.

11. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the changes are posted on this page and the effective date at the top is updated. If a change to collected items or purposes is unfavorable to you, we will notify you in advance, for example through an in-app notice, before it takes effect.
